Teacher Training and Qualification
Our staff is highly qualified beyond the requirements in Early Child Education and child development. Our teachers have advanced degrees and also undergo intensive training in the use of the Seeds of Stem curriculum provided by the researchers from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute STEM education center, Worcester Massachusettes. Our teachers understand Science and are trained to teach science concepts to preschoolers. Our Science Advisory Board keeps us informed of pertinent topics to keep our curriculum dynamic and relevant to important scientific issues.
All our staff with direct care and responsibilities to children has completed the State-approved hours of Health & Safety Orientation training plus CPR & First aid training. Our staff obtain a variety of annual training year after year including but not limited to child development, early childhood education, brain development, Science Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in Early Childhood.
